Embedded Software Engineering Intern
We are seeking a motivated embedded software engineering intern or working student to join our team
in Luxembourg. In this role, you will actively contribute to building a full avionics stack product.
Your tasks
During the internship you will:
- Assist in the development of embedded software features for the avionics stack, including for
- Support in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software modules.
- Contribute to the development of support tools (GSE testing tools, Code generation etc.)
- Assist the software team in various other types of engineering tasks.
Essential characteristics
- Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ for embedded systems development and
- Basic understanding of real-time operating systems and low-level hardware interfaces.
- Experience in utilizing communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI, and UART.
- Skilled in working with a variety of Microcontrollers and System on Chips.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English).
Strongly valued characteristics
- Experience with aerospace software development standards and safety-critical software
- Familiarity with lab equipment (logic analyser, power supply etc.).
- Familiar with embedded Linux, FPGA development.
- Passionate about embedded application development and eager to research new concepts.
