Guardian Industries is seeking an intern to join Pricing and Profitability Team in Bertrange, Luxembourg for 6 months. Guardian industries is a global company headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, operates facilities throughout North and South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The company employs 15,000 people and manufacture glass: from float glass to high-performance coated and laminated glass. You will evolve in an international environment with three pricing managers, two pricing analysts and one pricing director.
What You Will Do
Analyzing and extracting of data, Transitioning to new pricing tool (PROS) and new ERP, Maintaining and upgrade pricing tools following the switch to new ERP & Pricing systems Coordinating pricing actions: communications with Europe Sales teams on new tools and price list revision, Supporting and proposing pricing actions in line with strategic positioning, cost changes & cost forecast, demand & supply changes. Developing pricing tools: creation of new tools (dashboard, reports...) to make easier and more efficient decision making.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Education: Student in business/finance in university or business school: master degree (bac +4/+5)
- Languages: English Mandatory, any additional language is a plus
- IT skills:
- Microsoft Excel & PowerBI - strong knowledge is required (familiarity with VBA Macros and PowerPivot/PowerQuery is a plus)
- Basic programming knowledge - any language is a plus, SQL is advantage.
- Knowledge of Alteryx or Tableau is an advantage.
- Previous internship experience required.
- Personal skills: analytical skills; quick learner; curious; team spirit and capacity to evolve in an international environment.
