Based on your expertise and competencies you will support the bank in organising activities that can help achieve the goals set as part of the bank’s Corporate Sustainability Strategy.

Our Corporate Sustainability Strategy rests on four pillars, Corporate Culture, Responsible Client Services, Responsible Workforce Management, and Climate Change. As such, our strategy covers all three pillars of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance pillar). Your activities will span across a wide range, from handling research on specific opportunities that can help the bank become more sustainable, to organising meetings with different stakeholders across the bank to discuss on sustainability topics, to monitoring how we are progressing on the different goals of our Corporate Sustainability Strategy. You may also support in our annual cycle of reporting on sustainability, based on the so-called “Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive” (CSRD). As such, you can expect to be exposed to a variety of topics linked to sustainability and a variety of colleagues working on the Corporate Sustainability Strategy, giving you a concrete glance into how sustainability is integrated within a bank.

Key Accountabilities


  • Supporting on change management initiatives, to help Quintet staff continuously learn about sustainability. Includes for example support to the organisation and delivery of staff training on sustainability, and the maintenance of the Intranet page on Sustainability.
  • Support on the governance for corporate sustainability, to ensure initiatives are monitored, risks and issues are raised, and decisions are taken to make sure the strategy moves forward.
  • Support on the annual sustainability reporting exercise, i.e. the “Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive” (CSRD) to make sure the bank is ready for the first CSRD report in March 2025.
  • Support the bank in its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. This includes identifying NGOs to support through fundraising and volunteering activities, aligned with our CSR Governance framework, and coordinating and participating in any such activities, where relevant.
  • Perform research on different options that can help make the bank advance towards our Corporate Sustainability Strategy goals. This could include for example research on Green ICT, Sustainable Travel, Sustainable Procurement, Sustainable Marketing, etc.

Knowledge and Experience


  • Ongoing undergraduate degree in line with Business Management, Sustainability, Political science / Development studies, Human Resources.
  • If you have completed your undergraduate degree, ongoing Masters degree in line with Business Management, Sustainability, Political science / Development studies, Human Resources.
  • Previous internships or student experiences are appreciated but not mandatory.

Technical Skills


  • Ability to use the Microsoft package, in particular PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Languages Skills


  • English proficiency.
  • French knowledge appreciated but not mandatory.
