We are looking for a trainee for our Investment Compliance Team, Private Wealth business. The Investment Compliance Team mission is to monitor the funds’ compliance with the legal and investment restrictions. You will be responsible for two main activities: Compliance of the investments underlying life insurance contracts and validation and verification of compliance with the investment strategies chosen by the policy holders.
The internship should start on 01/10/2025 ideally and last for 6 months minimum.
Your Role
  • Investment strategy review and compliance check with regards to investment strategy in accordance with the investments ranges chosen by our clients and resolving investment breaches with external asset managers
  • Perform pre-compliance checks of new portfolio investments in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Develop a library and understanding of a broad range of fund regulatory requirements to provide confident opinion and guidance to our Sales team, External Partners and Internal Clients
  • Review governing documents; identify and resolve interpretive issues while ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Review eligibility of assets according to the Commissariat aux Assurance restrictions, codification of investments, create and maintain records in the database in accordance with legal regulations
Your Profile
  • Currently studying a Master’s Degree in Market Finance or related fields, including courses about financial markets, investment portfolio management and risk management
  • Business fluency (written and verbal) in French, good level in English
  • Sound knowledge of Excel such as pivot table, basic formulas and sorting high amount of data
  • Accurate, reliable, good analytical skills
  • Flexible, autonomous, and with team-playing abilities”
