The Settlement department is responsible of real-time banking applications in the post-trade processing area of Clearstream/DBAG. The application landscape consists of several critical C++ applications which are interacting with large databases, and which are communicating with numerous financial institutions worldwide.

As an Intern - Information Security First Line of Defense, you will learn about the enterprise Information Security Framework and get the opportunity to support the team in the delivery of Information Security in accordance with internal policies and regulatory expectations.

Your responsibilities

Coordinate internal stakeholders to send/receive all required documentation.

Support in conducting risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed Settlement information systems.

Actively attend stakeholder meetings to ensure timely project deliverables.

Support and progress monitoring of remediation activities and resolution of issues.

Monitor project risks and report them to the team leader for quick resolution.

Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices.

Ensure assessment consistency among every settlement application.

Support in planning, execution of Penetration test of Settlement information systems.

Support in maintaining Security and other related Documentation up-to-date.

Prepare Dashboard in Jira tool to show real-time information to help track and monitor vulnerabilities related to Settlement systems.

Your profile

You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree programme with a recognized institution focusing on Finance, Accounting or similar and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months.

Strong documentation skills.

Experience in coordinating and tracking project activities.

Proven success in a corporate setting, working with different stakeholders.

Strong written and verbal skills.

Fluency in English language.

Team player and effective communicator.
