ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a 3-month internship starting in October 2025 ?
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Group Financial Reporting (‘GFR’) team in a fast-paced, growing organization within a dynamic industry.
Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will contribute to the SES Group’s monthly closing process, as well as be involved in various key projects with a lot of great opportunities to learn and acquire new skills!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the preparation and execution of key monthly IFRS consolidation steps, such as: ensuring group ownership relationships are up-to-date; checking that FX rates are in line with those communicated by Treasury; and, intercompany balances and transactions are reconciled;
  • Complete standard monthly quality checklists identifying issues and following up where necessary with the relevant stakeholders;
  • Work with the tax team in the coordination of the tax accounting processes ensuring that all necessary steps are performed and all stakeholders follow the agreed processes;
  • Contribute to the drafting of both internal and external reporting including the Group’s consolidated financial statements under IFRS and presentations for the board and top management;
  • Give support to GFR team in various key projects.

YOUR PROFILE

1.You must have

  • Current student in Business, Finance/Economics or in a relevant area;
  • Very strong computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access);
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • Able to work in Luxembourg (EU-citizenship or valid work permit for Luxembourg).

2. It would be nice if you had

  • Strong interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular;
  • Strong interest in group financial reporting and group consolidation;
  • Additional languages considered an asset.
