Why This Role Matters
This role supports the evaluation and improvement of sensor signal processing used in real-time control systems. Your work will help ensure reliable, high-quality data flows from sensors to embedded control environments, enabling accurate system behavior and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze sensor signals, including amplitude, frequency, noise characteristics, and response time across different sensor types.
- Evaluate how signal behavior affects downstream processing and system integration.
- Design and implement signal conditioning circuits, such as filtering and amplification, and develop post-processing algorithms, including edge detection and frequency extraction.
- Verify that processed signals meet real-time performance requirements and integrate seamlessly with target systems.
- Document assumptions, calibration notes, and signal lists, and collaborate using version control tools.
What You’ll Bring
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree in progress in engineering, physics, or a related field
- Experience with MATLAB and Simulink for signal analysis or modeling
- Understanding of signal processing fundamentals such as filtering and noise analysis
- Basic knowledge of electronics including signal conditioning concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with real-time or embedded system constraints
- Exposure to sensor technologies and digital signal interpretation
- Experience with C, Python, or similar languages for technical prototyping
We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Even if you don’t meet every listed qualification, we encourage you to apply.
