Your tasks
RTL Group is in the process of transitioning from SAP ECC to S/4HANA and to streamline its finance processes. Based upon agile approach and regular development โsprintsโ, this programme necessitates a modernized test strategy and the implementation of testing procedures and tools. As a Software Test Engineer intern, your primary duties will encompass:
- Engaging in the testing of S/4HANA finance modules, specifically focusing on the R2R, O2C, CON, P2P, TAX, C&T processes.
- Collaborating closely with process owners to support the design of test cases and test scenarios.
- Participating in the assessment and integration of test management tools to facilitate automated testing.
- Developing and implementing automated test scripts.
- Contributing to the establishment of best practices for test automation and the management of test data.
- This internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing within the context of a significant technology migration. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of our S/4HANA transition while honing your skills in test engineering and automation.
Your profile
- Currently enrolled in a Masterโs degree or equivalent (Finance/IT);
- Familiar with Finance and Accounting concepts and sensitive to numbers
- Knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Relevant experience through jobs, student jobs or internships
- Fluent in English; any other language is a plus
- Well-organized, autonomous and a team player
- Rigorous in your work and follow-up on processes
- You have excellent analytical and communication skills
- You are curious, ready to invest a lot, and eager to learn
- You are available at least for 6 months, ideally for 12 months.
