ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) team in a fast-paced, growing organization within a dynamic industry.
Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will contribute to SESโs ESG programmes which covers a wide range of sustainability-related projects, including space sustainability, climate action and diversity & inclusion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsiblities include, but are not limited to:
- Work together with the ESG team in analyzing and reporting on key sustainability trends and guidelines/policies
- Support the ESG Compliance specialist efforts on ESG compliance and reporting projects (Annual Report, CSRD compliance, Non-Mandatory reporting frameworks);
- Support ESG team efforts with internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Support metric/KPIs identification and collect relevant data to measure impact of action plans
- Support creation and implementation of SESโs ESG strategy and roadmaps
- Improve and update internal ESG materials like trainings and presentations
- Support the design and implementation of ESG related employee engagement activities Preparing communication materials for the website and the intranet (ESG Newsletter)
- Desk research and benchmarking on industry trends, ESG best practices, and sustainability efforts in the space sector
- Assist in creating clear and concise data visualizations, charts, and graphs to communicate ESG performance
- Verify and cross-reference information to ensure data integrity and consistency
- Conduct comprehensive review of internal documentation and extract relevant ESG related data for reports, policies, and data related to our space sector operations
YOUR PROFILE
1. You must
- Currently be a student in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or in a relevant area;
- Have expertise in one or more sustainability topics related to industry: sustainability strategy, climate, circular economy, diversity and inclusion
- Have very strong computer literacy (MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access);
- Have flexibility to juggle between multiple projects and priorities
- Strong writing and communication skillls
- Fluency in spoken and written English;
- Able to work in Luxembourg (EU-citizenship or valid work permit for Luxembourg).
2. It would be nice if you had
- Strong interest in the global technology, media, and telecom business and satellite communications in particular
- Knowledge of MS Power BI and/or other data visualization software considered a big plus
- Additional languages considered an asset
