Your area of work

The IT Security section is focused on running a digital transformation of the company towards innovations and new technology industry trends by creating and ensuring a protected cybersecurity environment for the business processes of Deutsche Boerse Group and its subsidiaries.

Our team is driving innovation in the field of cybersecurity, initiating cutting-edge solutions that modernize and enhance the protection of digital assets. We are trying every day to lead the industry with the best quality expertise and technologies.

The IT Security Operations Unit team is committed to ensuring the efficient processing of access requests and delivering ongoing support for both IT security-related access and daily maintenance operations. The technologies they are utilizing include CyberArk, SWIFT, and IIQ, as well as applications related to the Windows and Linux platforms.

Your responsibilities

Develop and implement an initiative around onboarding of new vulnerability scanning tools within the IT Operations team.

Work on a dedicated project to increase our security posture on Unix side

Manage and resolve requests created by internal and external customers

Process a queue of tickets according to priority without any pre-defined delay

Collaborate with the IT teams to resolve security issues, improve process and implement automation

Create documentation and reports on projects progress and findings

Support the rollout of our new team documentation portal based on Confluence

Support in creating knowledgebase articles for user facing activities

Participate in the rollout of automation capabilities around BAU technologies

Stay service oriented and ensure a high quality of service

Your profile

You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree programme with a recognized institution and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months

University degree BAC+2/3 or higher technical degree in an IT related discipline

Knowledge of IT Security principles and practices

Basic understanding of Unix/Linux operating system

Basic knowledge of IT Asset protection / Vulnerability Scanning Management tools (Rapid7, Aqua)

Basic knowledge of scripting (Bash and/or Python)

Knowledge of tools used in DevOps teams, such as Jira, GitHub, Power Automate would be an asset

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
