The Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) is in charge of the development of the Luxembourg space sector, including the coordination of the "SpaceResources.lu" initiative. It is responsible of representing Luxembourg in international organizations such as the European Space Agency (ESA), and for space-related matters at the European Union (EU) and the United Nations (UN). In close cooperation with other public and private actors, the LSA is also supporting bilateral relations between Luxembourg and other countries, e.g. in the frame of official visits and economic missions. Reporting to the Head of Communication to support our talent development and outreach initiatives, we are currently looking for a:


COMMUNICATION & TALENT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (m/f)

(1 year contract, ref: CTDO)


Your main responsibilities


  • Contribute to and implement the Agency’s talent development and attraction strategy for the space sector in Luxembourg
  • Coordinate joint initiatives with different partners to support STEM education and talent development initiatives including projects, workshops, and awareness initiatives
  • Manage mentorship and/or internship programs ranging from primary to tertiary education and early careers to provide hands-on experience to space-related disciplines
  • Collaborate with educational institutions, industry partners and government agencies to foster a comprehensive approach to the implementation and development of space education programs and initiatives
  • Support the organization of events for professional and for lay audiences


Your Profile


  • 2-3 years of experience and expertise in Marketing or Communication, with a focus on project management and event organization
  • An experience in an education-related activity is an asset
  • A strong interest in the space sector
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Fast learner; able to take initiatives
  • Good command of French and English, spoken and written; German and Luxembourgish are an asset
  • Excellent writing skills, especially in English
  • Creative, efficient and team player
  • Ethos of excellence and innovation
