What You’ll Do
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and support sourcing of MRO items, manufacturing equipment, services, and supplies.
- Prepare and launch requests for quotations, thoughtfully evaluating price, quality, and long-term value.
- Support negotiations by balancing cost efficiency with fairness, quality, and sustainable supplier relationships.
- Identify recurring needs and help establish long-term agreements, contracts, and catalogues that simplify processes for everyone involved.
- Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers, following up on contract performance and nurturing positive, respectful partnerships.
- Contribute to the development of clear processes, working instructions, and communication plans that foster transparency and alignment.
- Assist in creating sourcing strategy documents and participate in continuous improvement and best-practice initiatives.
- Support purchase order follow-ups, documentation, and compliance checks with attention to detail and care.
What You’ll Bring
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related field.
- Strong written and spoken English, with additional European languages (especially French, German, or Luxembourgish) as a valuable plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and a thoughtful, analytical approach to problem-solving.
- A collaborative mindset, enthusiasm for learning, and the confidence to take initiative when supporting others.
- Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic, international environment.
- The ability to communicate openly and respectfully with colleagues and leaders at all levels, building trust and mutual understanding.
