Tax and Regulatory Monitoring Trainee (m/f/d)

Your role will be to monitor, collect, and analyze tax and regulatory information and trends impacting Luxembourg, Europe and international landscapes.

• Conduct daily monitoring of regulatory developments from sources such as government websites, regulatory bodies, EU institutions, and industry publications to identify relevant updates in tax and regulatory frameworks. Ensure accurate collection and integration of information into internal platforms and communication channels;
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations across various industries to ensure Technical teams stay informed about key developments and their potential impacts;
• Contribute to internal newsletters, reports, and briefings to ensure relevant teams are informed of critical regulatory updates. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain comprehensive knowledge-sharing channels;
• Enhance monitoring and reporting processes by leveraging tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Alteryx to improve efficiency, data preparation, and information management.

• Are a Master’s student in Law, Taxation, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, needing a 6-month or 1-year internship as part of your studies;
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English. Any other languages is considered an asset;
• Possess knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Alteryx is a plus;
• Demonstrate advanced Research and Analytical Skills: Demonstrate rigorous attention to detail, with the ability to interpret regulatory information, draw connections between key elements, and understand its relevance within the current context;
• Cultivate a commitment to excellence, demonstrated through professional behavior, rigor, team spirit, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive attitude;
• Display the ability to adapt to changing regulations and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
• Leverage knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory landscape is considered an asset;
• Bring curiosity and eagerness to learn.
