What’s the role?
An exciting opportunity to join our European Business Development team to support with administrative tasks helping to drive Gen II’s growth in Europe. You will work in support of the business development and marketing function for the Fund Services, corporate services, AIFM and depositary group in Europe.

This position will report into BD Director in Luxembourg, with main responsibility being preparation of proposals, material for pitches, driving CRM system data input, market research, providing local support with events organization, etc.
You will be part of our European business development efforts through growing our revenue with new and existing clients across all alternative classes and service lines.
What you’ll be doing
Your role may include, but will not be limited to, the following tasks which we call ‘Defined Business Activities’. The list of defined business activities is not exhaustive and may be amended from time to time:
- Scheduling and preparing meetings with prospects and intermediaries
- Prepare first drafts of fee proposals, pitch documents and RfPs
- Market research
- Producing reports, data analysis
- Provide day-to-day support for business development activities for the Group, working with the Marketing and Business Development team
- Oversight of new business targets and ensure pipelines are tracked in CRM
- Assist in targeting/arranging intermediary business development trips
- Champion the best practice use of the Salesforce System including contact lists
- Support in preparation of pitches, proposals and RFPs as well as research
- Support with event management
- Administer conference attendance lists and analysis against the CRM database
Research
- Conduct desk research to support “go to market” team business development meetings and conference attendance, as required
- Prepare/research information prior to intermediary meetings
- Undertake regular competitor analysis and provide updates as appropriate
The ideal background for this role:
- University degree in Finance/Economics or similar
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Outstanding communication skills with an ability to handle multiple business tasks
- Good written and verbal English, with other European languages being an asset
- Qualify for Luxembourg internship program for graduates
