As part of its internal internship programme, ING Luxembourg is looking for a Risk Management trainee for its Private Banking department. This internship is for a minimum duration of 6 months, starting in August 2026.

Please note that only students able to provide a valid internship agreement (school convention) will be considered.

Detailed description of the duties to be performed by the student trainee:

  • Participate in the production of ING Private Banking risk reports and risk dashboards

  • Participate in the production of reports on the performance of the different products of the ING Private Banking

  • Improve and optimise the existing reporting system through simplification proposals

  • Participate in various projects to develop new tools and reports to better cover ING Private Banking risks



Knowledge or skills developed by the trainee:

  • Develop knowledge in many areas such as financial and non-financial risks, economics, financial markets, regulation, statistics and IT tools

  • Develop the following skills: analytical skills, initiative, responsiveness, teamwork as well as autonomy, and communication with internal clients

Your profile:

Knowledge and experience:

  • Bac +4/+5 with economic, financial or commercial orientation

  • A first experience in the Bank will be considered as an asset

  • A first knowledge of financial products and risk indicators

Skills:

  • Good organisational skills and rigour, attention to detail

  • Comfortable with Excel including VBA

  • Good communication skills, presentation and discretion

Languages:

Essential oral and written knowledge of French and English. Proficiency in any other language will be considered as an asset.
