How will you contribute?

You will be mainly in charge of developing an interactive and scalable database that:

• in a structured manner houses genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic and other data links out to external database and resources

• is accessible using R and python, or other programming language, pipelines for data analysis

• incorporates visualization tools

• Design and validation of the database together with colleagues of the unit

Education

• BSc or MSc education in IT, bioinformatics, computer science, or biology

Experience and skills

• Experience with Python and R, SQL, HTML or JavaScript

• Experience in relational database structure and setup

• Interactive work style

• Able to communicate with people from different backgrounds and incorporate their suggestion

• Experience with research metadata, omics data and R is considered an asset

Language skills

• Fluency in English, both oral and written. Other relevant languages are an asset.
